This sweater was in progress when I joined this KAL, and now that it is done, I can start a new cable sweater for me. I hope to cast on for it this week.
This sweater is my own design. I used the Saxon braid featured on the cover of Nicky Epstein's Knitting on the Edge, flanked with 3x3 cables to get the needed width. The yarn is Green Mountain Spinnery's Mountain Mohair, which is wonderful to knit with.

Thanks very much. Aside from the time it took to figure everything out, it has been my favorite project knit this year. And it has given me the itch to do more self-designed sweaters.
