First post, one project down...

roguebeach

rogueclose

I started Rogue over the summer, but worked on it slowly due to it being too hot to have a heavy wool/alpaca blend sweater on my lap. I finally finished it last week and took it along on a weekend trip to Long Island, which is where the photos were taken.

Specs:

Pattern is Rogue.
Yarn is Jaeger Shetland Aran in black.
Size is 48".
Needles were US 8 for knit rows, US 7 for purl rows (and US8 for the in the round sections as well).

Lovely work! Is the yarn heathery, or is that the alpaca strands catching the light?

Scholastica, it's the alpaca in the yarn... there are little white to light gray hairs sticking out everywhere, which I absolutely love about this yarn. It adds such a wonderful feel to it.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments everyone!
