I already had it on my needles...


... so I guess I started the KAL early.
The back is done! Almost exactly one skein of Lion's Fisherman for the large size. And tonight I made it past my first bobbles. Bobbles are stupid fun to knit, yes, but even more fun to wear. I'm jazzed about knitting again, thanks Christie! Now if only I could learn to do makeup as well as the model.

Did you you have to adjust the needles at all for the substitution yarn? I might just have to copy!!!

Size 8s gave me EXACT stitch gauge, and slightly short on row gauge (6.5 rather than 6). But the pattern calls for measuring length rather than a specific number of rows, so it's all good. But unless it blocks out well, I think it may be snugger than I anticipated. Still, I'm loving the way this yarn shows the cables (picture as soon as I remember to get batteries!)
