I have just finished these cabled mitts. I need to get the pattern typed up so I can get it in the mail. These are knit in Louet Gems Sport wt, in Sage on size 2 dpns. I have several small projects, with cables started that I hope to finish and 2 large ones. One from Arans and Celtics The Sensational Shirttails, and another from the last Fiona Ellis book, I think it is named A Gathering ??? I obviously have not looked at it in a while since I can't remember the exact name.
I can't wait to see all the cabled projects that come off the needles this Fall. It is great inspiration to finish mine.

I love these! What pattern are they? Is the Louet Gems yarn very soft or is it itchy?
I remember seeing the shirt tails pattern in one of my back issues of Knitters and wanting to knit. I vote for that one because then I can follow along and pick up tips.
I have the shirttails sweater started, well it has been started for several years, that is why I need KALs like this, for the motivation.
Thanks Melissa, the pattern is my own and the louet gems is not scratchy or itchy and washes up soft.
